Protect Our Children: Vote Peggy Edwards for Madison County Library Board Trustee on Tuesday, May 16
Protecting our children's innocence: Why voting for Peggy Edwards in the Madison County Library Board election on May 16 is crucial for our community's future
Peggy will protect our children
On Tuesday, May 16, a seemingly obscure election for Madison County Library Board has the power to shape the safety and well-being of our children. We write to express our wholehearted endorsement of Peggy Edwards. As a mother and a passionate advocate for protecting our children from objectionable material, Peggy is the clear choice to serve on the board.
We remember the library from our childhood as a safe and welcoming place to learn and explore with friends. Unfortunately, in today's world, the library has become a source of concern for many parents due to the availability of inappropriate sexual material and the infiltration of Critical Race Theory and "wokeness.” Drag Queen Story Hours have become increasingly common in public libraries across the country, and we are appalled by the normalization of such behavior in front of our children.
You might be surprised at some of the objectionable material found in our local library. Each book is on the shelf and fully accessible to children. Please click on the title to see how awful they are.
Peggy is committed to safeguarding our community’s values
Peggy is the candidate in the race who will protect our kids from this smut. With a degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development from BYU, Peggy is uniquely equipped to protect our children's innocence and advocate for age-appropriate resources. She is committed to safeguarding our community's values, including traditional marriage, biblical manhood and womanhood, and will never support or vote to allow Drag Performers in the library. She will protect our children from access to pornographic materials.
Peggy is a passionate advocate for children and a responsible steward of our tax dollars. As a 16-year home educator and mother of a highly dependent special needs child, she understands the value of the public library. She is dedicated to ensuring all families have access to quality resources and programming. She is particularly sensitive to homeschooling and special needs communities and will prioritize their needs and concerns on the board.

This is an issue of deep concern to us. We maintain a list of books for our children to read from because of the smut available at the library- I pre read all Young Adult novels for content before they’re added to the list. Is this kind of objectionable content breakdown available for more books!? It would save me a lot of time reading. In any case, Peggy definitely has my vote.
